Why did you choose Paxton House for your wedding venue?
We wanted a wedding venue that would work with us and help us deliver what we wanted whilst being flexible and open to ideas. We found this a real sticking point with all the other venues we looked at, and just didn’t get that good vibe feeling anywhere else. We wanted to also have a venue close to us so we could come back with the kids in the future and show them where we got married and relive the memories. We always attend events at Paxton House and it feels so special. Mel went above and beyond and we were able to do so much more at our wedding than we thought we would.
Did you feel like your vision and priorities were realised?
Mel definitely delivered on our visions and helped us achieve so many of our priorities. It was a great mix of her helping us and taking the lead, to then us doing lots of our own things and booking suppliers that suited us. What surprised you most about Paxton House as a venue?
We were surprised at how easy and how flexible everything was, especially with the variable weather in the few days building up to the wedding. So many nice areas were made available to us and could have been used had the weather taken a turn. With the option of using inside still being available on the morning of. Nothing was an issue even when we wanted to change a few things last minute or when we wanted to add things to the already big to do list. Mel just took it in her stride and helped us get it right.
