How much is a pitch?

Pitches are available from £33 per night.
From October to March we charge an additional £5 per night towards electricity costs.

How do I check in and out and at what times?

Pitches are allocated dependant on how you book.
To select your favourite pitch, book directly with us. Select your pitch using our Site Map as your guide.
Bookings made via Pitchup or Campsites.co.uk will be allocated the lowest numbered available pitch.
Check-in from 11:30am to 10pm. Go directly to your allocated pitch and call us on 01289 385 777. Our phone is manned daily until 4pm. After this please leave a message and we will check you in next morning.
Check-out is 10am

Are tents permitted?

No. Awnings attached to caravans or campervans are welcome but not separate tents.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, we welcome a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch. Please keep them on the leads at all times, clean up after them and be mindful towards other visitors and dogs onsite. Our Stables Tearoom has a dog friendly room, where you can pick up some delicious doggy ice cream, sausages or puppacinos!

Yes, there is plenty for children of all ages to enjoy at Paxton House!

Do we get free access to the grounds if we stay in the caravan park?

Yes. Guests in all our onsite accommodations have free access to our 80 acres of grounds, gardens and riverside for the duration of their stay.
We also offer a 10% discount on any house tour bookings during your stay – please pop into our shop for full details and to make payment.

What facilities are on site?

Each pitch is on gravel hard standing and has access to electric hook up.
There is also access to drinking water, drainage facilities for chemical and grey waste water, recycling, glass and general waste bins.

Is there anywhere to eat on site?

The Stables Tearoom serve home baking and light lunches to eat in or take away. Check their opening hours here.
The Cross Inn in Paxton village just a 5 minute walk from the caravan site, with friendly service and great home cooked meals. Visit their website or call them on 01289 384877 to make a reservation.
The town of Berwick upon Tweed, 4 miles away, has a range of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

Is there WiFi?

No. The Walled Garden Caravan Park is designed to allow you to switch off from the world and escape. Should you wish to connect, we have free WiFi access in our main public areas including our Stables Tearoom, shop and exhibition spaces.
