Enjoy the privilege of full after-hours access to Paxton House's extensive grounds, woodland walks and woodland playground. Paxton House makes an ideal base to explore the beautiful Scottish Borders, Northumberland's beaches and hills and the historic Georgian town of Berwick-upon-Tweed.
South Lodge
Enjoy your exclusive stay in one of our bright and sunny gate lodges. This little Georgian gem was designed by Thomas Chippendale in the 1780s and now makes a relaxing hideaway for two. Perfectly appointed for a couple, the cottage has a cosy open fire and its own west-facing gravelled garden to enjoy the sunsets. It is dog friendly and you will love being able to stroll in our extensive grounds and woodland gardens after everyone else has gone home.
The Garden Apartment
Imagine waking in the morning at Paxton House and taking a stroll down to the river Tweed or, in the evening, having the grounds to yourself as you enjoy a picnic al fresco on the lawns. The spacious Garden Apartment occupies a suite of rooms in the main Georgian house, once designed for servants, but now perfectly adapted for a luxury holiday with a difference away from the stresses of modern life with views over the South lawns. There’s room for two with the option of additional space on the sofa bed.

The Old Bakery
Old Bakery at Paxton House into a luxury holiday cottage which will sleep 4+. The Old Bakery is in one of the Kitchen wing of the main house, it has a shared courtyard and access to the the gardens and grounds. It is a lovely property with great views over the parkland.
