Our Garden Apartment in the entrance courtyard or the South Lodge at the gate provide the perfect place for all those important bridal preparations on the morning of the wedding. Both sleep two as well, so you could book for your wedding night to secure a private retreat. The Scottish Borders is a holiday area so we can recommend a range of accommodation options for guests in our Walled Garden Caravan Park, in the nearby villages and larger hotels in Berwick-upon-Tweed, only 5 miles away.
Once inside the gates, Paxton feels wonderfully remote but we are just 15 minutes from Berwick-upon-Tweed with fast intercity rail connections to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Glasgow and London. Since we are right on the Scotland England border, we have a choice of airports just over an hour away. We have space to land a helicopter or tie up a boat and can help you arrange to arrive and leave again in whatever style you choose.
