Walled Garden Caravan Park
Welcome to Paxton House’s award-winning caravan park, quiet and secluded within the sheltering brick walls of the Georgian walled garden.
Once the garden was a busy place where gardeners toiled to bring all kinds of fruits and vegetables to the house. In the late 19th century, large hothouses nurtured exotic and tender plants. The garden declined in the 20th century but has now found a new life and today makes a perfect base for a family holiday exploring the many attractions, castles, historic houses, beaches and countryside of this unspoiled region.
Winner of the EU Business News Award for Best Country House Visitor Attraction and Caravan Park – Scottish Borders in 2023 and winner of a European Travel Award 2023
