Pop-up dinners are the most recent venture for Paxton House, and they have started with a bang! Having sold out the first two dinner nights and received wonderful feedback from all the guests, the Paxton House staff are really looking forward to keeping them going!

The Stables tearoom was transformed from its usually cafe feel to a beautiful restaurant. With white table cloths, fresh flower arrangements and more tealights than you can shake a stick at, it set a very relaxing ambiance. Guests were invited to bring their own bottle with no extra corkage fee which added to the friendly atmosphere, while there were still soft drinks for sale.

Due to the roaring success of the pop-up dinners, the Paxton House staff will now be doing one on the last saturday of every month. To give you an idea of the menu, here is Saturday 24th of September sample menu:

“Now a fantastic addition……. Tonight 20th August the first experience of the Pop Up restaurant, a new once a month evening menu in the Stables. Tonight’s food (20 Aug 16) was superb, quality cuisine, which was very well cooked: fish was moist and cooked to perfection, steak rare and tender.”

Amendments to the menu to accommodate an allergy were met with a smile and no problem, much appreciated thank you!
