The Paxton Trust is looking to appoint a new Chair to provide strategic leadership and direction to its Board of Trustees, working collaboratively with the CEO, staff and colleagues on the Board to deliver the charitable objectives and activities for which the Trust was established.
Whilst knowledge of the charitable heritage sector would be an advantage, most essential is the commitment of the Chair to our vision: a historic house, National Collections and estate that continue to evolve in order to entertain, inform and engage public understanding of its demonstrable significance and unique sense of place, together with an ability to enhance the reputation and reach of the Trust.
You would need to commit perhaps one day per month.
