Explore our history inside and out. Paxton House has stood near the Scotland England border since 1758; we’ve plenty of stories to tell after 250 years.

You can hire Paxton House for a whole range of happenings, from weddings and parties to activities in the grounds or on the river.
Adventures at Paxton
Explore the friendly Georgian rooms in the house on a tour, walk in the woodlands and gardens, see our waterwheel, find an adventure in our woodland playground or down by the River Tweed. Can you skim a stone to England? There is so much to discover- spend a day with us and don’t forget, the Tearoom is always ready with plenty of fantastic tea and cake!
