We are showing works by Philip MacEachan who holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of the Highlands and Islands, Scotland. In 2013 he was chosen as a finalist in the prestigious Jolomo Bank of Scotland Awards, in recognition of the best of Scottish contemporary landscape painting. Among other topics, he is inspired to make work focussing on the Scottish Highland Clearances after researching his family history, having discovered that his ancestors had been cleared from Arisaig in Argyll.
