We welcome visitors of all ages and only charge a small admission fee to cover the preservation and maintenance of the house and grounds. You can also keep an eye out for the special offers we provide throughout the season.

2014 Annual Grounds Pass


    New this year we are offering a 'pay once come free for a year' scheme for our grounds!

    This means that for just £4 per adult you can come along to the grounds whenever you like for a whole year!

    All you need to do is come along and pay for a grounds ticket once- you will be asked to sign up to our scheme with a few of your details and then you will be given your annual pass.

    That's it! No extra costs, nothing to put in the post; just a simple, easy and great value scheme that means you can make the most of our grounds.

    • Groups: £6.50/ per person,  (min 12 in group)
    • Friends: £20.00 single adult. Gives free access to House & Grounds all year (when House is open), among other benefits

    Group visits


    Group visits to the house and grounds may be arranged for any time of the year and packages tailored to suit your particular interests are available. Please contact us for more details or to arrange a visit.  

    Study days and specialist tours are also available for students and adults with emphasis on architecture, furniture, social history and/or costume.

    Disabled access


    We welcome wheelchair users and dedicated parking bays close to the reception area for such visitors. However, please bear in mind that Paxton House was built in the 18th century and, as such, wheelchair access is only available to the main floor via a passenger lift. If required, we have wheelchairs available for the use of visitors.
