Hello, my name is Paxton Ted and I’m here to tell you about the fun things you and your family can do at Paxton House.
Paxton Ted is here to offer a warm welcome
Outside you can follow the Teddy Trail signs around the grounds and see if you can find all eight of my Teddy friends as you go. You can collect a trail sheet in the shop. Remember to bring it back once you have finished and collect your Paxton Ted sticker! Inside Paxton House you will be taken on a guided tour where you will learn lots about the house while keeping your eyes open for more teddies hiding in each room.
There is a wide range of wildlife in the grounds; we love to hear about what you spot, you might even see me!
You can have a game of pitch and putt or croquet on the lawn. All clubs and balls can be hired from the shop.

The Adventure Playground is so much fun with slides, swings, a zip wire and all sorts of places to climb. After all that adventuring you can enjoy lunch or a snack at The Stables Restaurant; my favourite is the nutritious lunch box which can be eaten inside or out! The Stables Restaurant is in the courtyard where you will also find the toilets and the corridor leading to the Regency Gift Shop.
There is so much to do here and you can even have your Birthday or celebration party here at
Paxton House!

Children’s Parties
Paxton House is a splendid venue for a children’s party and we offer three options for you to create the perfect party for your child in our Hayloft Gallery.
- Room Hire Only: £20.00 for two hours and a maximum 25 children.
- + 1 hour craft, games, sport or wildlife activity led by Paxton House Staff: £2.00 per child
- + Party Lunch box: £3.50 per child
